Instead of the conventional name – souvenir shop, we will create a space that will be informative as well as a sales center, in one word – market.
In the market, we avoid conventional products and focus on gastronomic souvenirs, as we directly support local producers and motivate them to work extra – spices, cheese, wine, honey, marinated carp, etc. in unified packages from the “Besac” brand.
In addition, we also offered a smaller library, in cooperation with the “National Museum” of Montenegro, which are part of their monographic and similar. editions put on regular sale, with the aim of increasing the visibility of Montenegrin culture.
In the context of souvenir materials, we would purposefully design the objects and never work in the spirit of conventional handicrafts. The proposal of specially created souvenirs is below:
- Social game series “Memory Game – Birds of Montenegro” published by “Study of Currants”;
- Souvenir ceramics, visco-aesthetic standards in the context of the Skadar Lake motif, produced by the “Shimmpo” workshop;
- Cookbook “Tastes of the Lake”, published by the Center for Sustainable Tourism Initiatives.
In the context of gastronomic souvenirs, purchased locally, we highlight the following:
- Red, white and rose wine of the house;
- Cow, goat and mixed cheese;
- Honey and jams;
- Spices and herbs;
- Homemade brandy and liqueurs;
- Juices and dried fruits and vegetables;
- Dried meat products;
- Canned fish;
- Homemade cosmetics;
- Second, gastronomic products of local character, as assessed by the concessionaire.
In addition to branded products, the market will also feature products from other registered local producers.
Excursion activities can also be scheduled at the Market – hiking on Rumija, wine road tours, lake cruises, bird watching, etc.
