You are at the “Besac” fortress its rich history has made it the central gate of the “Crmnica” region and its wine routes.

The origin of this fortification, which rises above the town of Virpazar, has not been determined with certainty to this day. However, it is believed that the fortress was built by the Turks in the 15th century, immediately after the fall of Donja Zeta.
